Angle Plates are utilized in conjunction with Surface Plates while performing Layout Inspection
Typically many users are unaware and unable to assess the validity of Angle plates
In many cases there may not be a significant issue, however in some cases there may be significant impact to product and impair the result obtained
The reasons are many, lack of a perpendicularity standard, lack of understanding the potential impact, or thinking “its just a reference”
